Room 420, Friday Afternoon
Yet another Friday stuck on this insane island.
Even Xanthippe had to admit her chances off getting the hell of this rock anytime soon were looking slim with each day that dragged on. Wasn't for any lack of effort on her part, though. She'd been pleading with her mom practically daily. God, she'd even called her dad once. And she had absolutely nothing to show for it. It was starting to look like defeat.
Also, she'd been extra bored today.
Both of these things led to what she was doing now, which was pinning kind of a lot of posters and fliers on the wall of her room. Or the wall on her side of the room, whatever. All kinds of cool band posters. She'd even heard some of their music! At least she was pretty sure she had.
Whatever. She knew they were cool, and this place was in desperate need of that.
[ooc: Open door, open post!]

Whatever. They were hot right now.
She glanced back over her shoulder. "Aww, and you stil haven't fallen off a cliff never to be seen again."
That came out a little more resigned, a little less biting than she'd been aiming for. She was having that kind of a day.

"Nah, still tip top. Try not to cry too much," Eggsy said, flopping back onto his bed to watch her decorating.
no subject
Yes, that came complete with an eye roll, so now he was stealing valuable decorating time from her by making her do that. (Except for how she seemed to have nothing but time around here.)

"You actually listen to music or just sit around and complain about it?"
no subject
Said without a trace of irony.
"Besides, do they even have Spotify where you're from?"
no subject
"Nah, we gotta settle for bangin' rocks together," he shot back.
no subject
"Well, maybe one day you'll discover fire and can slowly move up to music."

She would do no such thing.

"No, it's good, not getting it means I can give your petty bull exactly as little attention as it deserves. Which is none."
