Outside Xan's Apartment Building, Manhattan, NY, Saturday
Xanthippe was having a panic attack.
Okay, no she wasn't. But it felt like the brink of one? Because she was on the sidewalk outside the building she lived in now, waiting for Hyacinthe, and up - way, way up - in her apartment she had stuff ready for his visit and a couple of gifts because maybe this'd be the last time before he finally went home, and what if he didn't like anything and what if she was a huge loser and what if --
Anyway. Outwardly, she was mostly cool? Just... standing there, beanie on her head and a coat on over her dress, fidgeting with her phone for lack of a better thing to do with her hands. She looked fine.
But she was going to internally flail herself to death if he didn't get here soon.
[ooc: NFB and for the one mentioned!]

Anyway, she shook her head, like she was shaking that thought away. "There's a Thai place that delivers like three blocks away." She'd... sort of given up on the pizza plan, for now. And anyway, it was going to be a long day, and they could get back to that.

Like most young men, Hyacinthe had yet to find a cuisine that he didn't like, so long as it was plentiful.
"Unless you actually meant ties. In which case...I am willing to try that, too."
You found this attractive, Xan. This was on you.

"I knew I should've bought you a gag, like, oh my God," Xanthippe told him with an amused eye roll, already pulling herself off him so she could go find her phone. It was in her coat, which was... probably discarded by the door.
Just like her dress was about to be, right here on the floor. He'd already peeled it halfway off her, anyway.

Hyacinthe took advantage of her momentary absence to remove the rest of his clothing and then once more lounged on the couch, taking up as much room as possible with his lanky frame. Is Xanthippe wished to be comfortable, she would needs recline on him to do so - which pleased him to no end.
"Shall I come up with a signale, then?" he asked lazily. "That you may indulge in your whims of ties and gags?"

Or having hot people sprawling on her couch, as she noted the case was when she'd fished her phone out of the coat and turned around.
The look she gave him was equal parts a leer and just pure 'oh my god, you are ridiculous. "Hey, you're the one that brought up ties," she pointed out as she slowly made her way back, opening up a food delivery app on her way. "You don't know my whims!" Then she shrugged. "Good guess, though."
She'd learned the art of being a casual tease from him, so he couldn't complain.

Not that it wasn't super nice whenever he was reassuring.

So there, pretty Xan. So there.
"But I can be obedient," he added with a leer. "Why was it a good 'guess'?" he asked, absolutely giving the final word air quotes.
no subject
That was laughably untrue, looking at most of their interactions with each other.

No, she was aware that she was the brattiest brat.

And then promptly went back to poking at her phone, like an asshole who couldn't be swayed by his sad eyes. "Anyway, I'm ordering you lunch." Well, them. "I don't have time for, like, telling you about the restraints I bought or the room that's not really a room where I might make you scream."
She said all of that very casually, yes.

That was probably a lie, although she was focusing a bit more on tapping in her order, right now.

He wanted her very aware of what he wasn't playing with right now, yes.
no subject
But at least they were going to be getting a ton of food.
no subject
This was what you got, brat.

She did not do a great job of suppressing the shiver that happened right before she tossed her phone aside, having completed her order. "Food's gonna be here in about twenty," she said, at least managing a casual, unaffected tone there.
Unlike with her body. Her nipples were stiffening into peaks purely from anticipation and denial alone.
no subject
"And what is it that you ordered for us?" he asked, managing to sound only curious as his fingers continued their trek ever-downward.
To go explore the silky skin of her inner thighs, of course, and no higher.

She wanted to stop the really obvious shiver, but couldn't. Goddammit.

Then she just watched him for a moment, her head slightly tilted. And then she brought her own hands to the crown of his head, only just barely touching him with her fingertips. She kept up the same level of almost not-touching him as she slowly ran her fingers down his hair, then down to his shoulders.
She'd had his copy of the Trois Milles Joies for about six months, now. Two could play this game.

"I mean..." She ran her fingertips down his arms very, very slowly, making sure to keep her touch feather-light. Barely there. "You asked me to."
And the spring had been a stressful time at school, and by the time summer had rolled around, she'd already been in the habit of making her way through it, one passage at a time.
